Do you feel stuck, stressed, or dissatisfied with life? Do you find it difficult to find a good balance between work and the rest of your life? Work-life balance is an ongoing process, and only by defining your own success and recognizing how to balance your work and life can you match your personal goals during this season of your life.
A seminar on work-life balance will be held at Fairmount Homes on February 13 at 1:15 p.m., and the public is cordially invited to attend. The event will take place in the Wheat Ridge Chapel on the west side of the Fairmount campus.
The presenter will be Marganne Hoffman, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Program Coordinator for Wellspan. Hoffman has been employed in behavioral healthcare since 2000 and has worked in various positions, including Project Coordinator for Shaping Your Family’s Future, a book developed by Philhaven to encourage parents to create healthy family patterns as they raise their children. Since 2007, she has managed over seventy EAP client companies and provides guidance and resources to employers and their employees. She also develops and facilitates educational programs, as well as responds to workplace traumatic events. For the Work-Life Balance Seminar, she will be show attendees how to: define their success; understand obstacles to balancing work and life; and take action steps to re-align work-life balance.
